The Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government and UIC Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony and UIC New Campus Ground-breaking Ceremony are held. The Zhuhai government grants UIC a plot of land of approximately 200,000 square metres to build a new campus. UIC will integrate the new campus and its adjacent area into a university town to better take part in Zhuhai's economic and cultural development.
