On 16 June, the 9th Graduation Ceremony and Honorary Fellowship Conferment takes place at the University Hall on the new campus for the first time.

On 18 September, new students are officially welcomed at their Inauguration Ceremony. This is the first semester that all UIC students will attend classes at the new campus.
